Solution: Create a New Encrypted Backup
To resolve this issue, you'll need to create a new encrypted backup of your device on your PC. Follow these steps using either the Apple Devices app or iTunes:
- Launch the Apple Devices app or iTunes on your PC.
- Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to your PC using a USB cable.
- Select the device in Apple Device or iTunes.
- Click General (in Apple Devices) or Summary (in iTunes).
- Check the box to enable "Encrypt local backup".
- Enter a password to protect your encrypted backup when prompted.
- Once a password is provided, the app will begin to create an encrypted backup of your device.
